1) Who is the data controller?

This website is published by Candel & Partners.

2) What data do we collect?

  • Data you transmit to us via the contact form: name, email address, number of shares held, message content, choices (acceptance of this policy, updates).
  • Technical logs related to security and message routing: date/time, partially masked IP address, technical identifiers.

Please do not transmit so-called "sensitive" data (health, political opinions, etc.) in the message field.

3) Why do we process your data? (legal bases)

  • Response to your requests and follow-up of exchanges: legitimate interest (art. 6-1-f GDPR).
  • Site security (spam and abuse prevention, technical logging): legitimate interest.
  • Compliance with our legal obligations (rights management, proof of consent): legal obligation (art. 6-1-c GDPR).

4) Recipients and processors

The data is processed by Candel & Partners and by its counsel Vermeille & Co for request management. The site host and maintenance provider may access data for technical reasons. No data is sold.

5) Transfers outside the European Union

We aim for hosting and backups located in the EU. If a transfer outside the EU were to occur, it would be framed by appropriate guarantees (European Commission standard contractual clauses, complementary measures if necessary).

6) Retention periods

  • Messages sent via the contact form: 24 months after the last exchange.
  • Technical logs: 6 months.
  • Data related to "updates": until withdrawal of your consent or 24 months of inactivity.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition, portability, as well as the right to define post-mortem directives (art. 15 to 22 GDPR and Data Protection Act).
